Wow! What a month the Royal Oaks Pony Club(ROPC) and the North Central Prairie Region(NCPR) have coming up!
On February 25 a standards and ratings clinic will be held by the NCPR in Union, IL. National Pony Club Examiner Deb Wilson will be coming in to clarify what testers are looking for when pony clubbers take their certifications.
Then the Iowa Pony Clubs included in the NCPR will be hosting a 'C' Rating Prep day with H-A Pony Club graduate Ali Glenn. Members of ROPC were graciously invited to attend the fully day of Horse Management prep!
After that it's back to the McLean and Dewitt County areas on March 10 where ROPC will participate in a clinic hosted at Par-a-Dux farm with USEA Certified instructor, and graduate 'A' pony clubber Cathy Jones-Forsburg,
The weekend of March 16, 17, and 18 NCPR will be hosting an upper level rating prep with Susan Harris, known for writing all three of the current United States Pony Club Manuals.
Then it's off to Peoria the last weekend in March for Quiz Rally!
ROPC has a busy busy March, full of learning both riding and horse management skills. As always members are encouraged to participate and to learn as much as possible, but no one is required to attend any mounted or unmounted activities.
